Stevenage hardcore band Bad Breeding release the single 'Rebuilding' ahead of their upcoming album Human Capital - due out on One Little Independent Records on July 8th. Intensely political and unrelentingly heavy, Bad Breeding are one of the most consistent bands around. Since their debut single Burn This Flag in 2016 they have been a rallying cry against the drudgery of modern life and the war of attrition waged by those in power. Fuelled in part by anger but also by a desire to strengthen communities and form solidarity, the band can draw comparison to early 80s Anarcho punk in their ethos however their sound; the singles taken from Human Capital are particularly innovative in the detail and precision amongst the cacophonous din. 'Rebuilding' is built from layers of omnipresent feedback squalls stacked on relentlessly pummelling bass and drums with some uncharacteristically clean(ish) guitar tones that give the track a melodic-hardcore edge reminiscent of bands like Have A Nice Life and Mamaleek and their more experimental takes on heavy music.
